# Status

| Status       | Description                                                                                                                |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `pending`    | The Payin Link is created. You need to redirect the user to the `paymentUrl` for Palomma to collect payment info.          |
| `processing` | The request has been sent to the bank, and Palomma is waiting for a response.                                              |
| `approved`   | The payment has been successful.                                                                                           |
| `cancelled`  | Error state. More detail available in `statusMessage` field. See all [Status Messages](/api-documentation/statusMessages). |
